Yesterday was my first day back to taekwondo after a five month break.  I’m so tired, but some of that credit should  go to my head cold.
The taekwondo hurt is a good hurt.  The national holiday Chuseok is coming up at the end of this week.  Because I can’t / they’d really prefer if I didn’t go abroad [...]

Twice a week the other foreign English teacher and I have to do a five or ten minute “news” broadcast.  I dare you to try and find an article that would hold the attention of Korean middle school kids.  For a while we did weird news.  You know, stupid criminals and animal stories and the [...]

11:21 Thursday September 24th

This morning Mrs. Kwan (here on after known as The Babysitter) asked me if I could participate in the teacher’s badminton tournament today.  Double take?
When at work, I wear fancier clothes and shoes that are inappropriate for sports.  I shouldn’t and won’t play in them, unless I think I need to reinjure my left ankle and [...]

My students love their boys bands.  My objection to these bands is that they:
a-suck
b-of course they suck
c- objectify women
d- objectify men
e- only value clothes and shoes and stupid trendy shit in a stupid trendy melodramatic way
f – uh, the music seriously blows, dude.  do something different. turn off the auto-tune.
I am lonesome in these opinions.  My [...]
